A 6 week programme designed to get you ready for your first (or second) triathlon!

This programme is aimed at the beginner triathlete, but you may already have a little base fitness from your other endeavours. In any event, you'll want to ease into this programme and the main difference with triathlon is getting used to training for three disciplines each week. This can be mentally as well as physically taxing.

It can also require a little more organisation! So make sure you read your programme and get your training gear ready the night before. This saves you scrambling early in the morning and forgetting crucial items.

In this programme you'll get 2 complete rest days each week. If you are on the fitter side you may like to use these rest days to incorporate some strength/resistance training in. Please contact me if you would like a strength programme (home or gym based) to supplement your triathlon training.

Rest is important so make sure you take it. You don't get fitter during the actual physical training. You get fitter by allowing your body to recover stronger!
